⁵ If anyone denounces their friends for reward,^(A)
    the eyes of their children will fail.^(B)

⁶ “God has made me a byword^(C) to everyone,^(D)
    a man in whose face people spit.^(E)
7 My eyes have grown dim with grief;^(F)
    my whole frame is but a shadow.^(G)
